— A Visit
Breaks where never actually a good thing, in fact they always ended up being more trouble than they were supposed to be. Anri had left a good few times just so she could be on her own and gather her thoughts. She left the city, and left her friends. The two people she felt like she couldn’t live without, and she just left them—multiple times. Of course she felt guilty for it, but it just felt different being around the two people now. They were both experiencing things that she would never come to understand—moving along with their lives with the people they loved and doing things she would never be able to do.And that’s what has been keeping her away. She had to admit she might have been a bit, envious, maybe? They were no longer just the three best friends. But there was nothing she could do about it.
For someone like Anri, word is easily spread and she caught wind of what happened to Masaomi rather quickly. Thankfully she wasn’t far away and she could easily make it back to where he was. The details were not entirely clear, and all she heard was that he’d been injured again. Just because they were, in her eyes, drifting apart, didn’t mean that she didn’t care deeply about her best friends, her precious two.
Hurrying back to the city, she stopped by and picked up a small bushel of flowers and a small bag of some of his favorites treats. Entering the hospital she asked one of the nurses at the front desk which room was his, and quietly made her way towards it. Once she reached the door she stood in front of it for a moment, just to collect her thoughts. Taking a deep breath she softly knocked on the door and peaked her head in.
“K-Kida…-kun?”
